The “Changing of the Guard” from the best position (excluding Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, & some public holidays).

Experience the Heart of London
Have the secret of Trafalgar Square and St. James Park unlocked. Marvel at the exteriors of Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, 10 Downing Street, and Westminster Abbey.

March with the King’s Guard
See the guards, hear the band, and march with them to Buckingham Palace. We’ll show you the best viewpoints that most people miss! (Military schedule permitting, see times here)

Cross the Wobbly Bridge
Take in St. Paul’s Cathedral, Christopher Wren’s masterpiece that took 40 years to build. You’ll stroll over Millennium Bridge (the Harry Potter/wibbly wobbly bridge) to take in Shakespeare’s Globe and the stunning views from the South Bank.

Visit a World-Class Food Market
Take in the sights and smells of London’s oldest and best food market (note: food is at your own expense).

Yes, all our tours are private and can be customized to our guests’ interests.

For the Best of London in a Day tour, there is an optional Tower of London extension. This add-on includes entry where you can explore inside the famous Tower of London with your guide. Hear about 1,000 years of bloody history, meet a Beefeater, and finish your visit by seeing the priceless crown jewels. (Optional 1 hour extra for £47 per person.)

The schedule is subject to change by the army, but it usually runs Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 10.30 throughout the year. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to see the Changing of the guard on your tour.

Our tours are designed for groups of 1-14 people. However, we can certainly cater to larger groups. For groups of over 14 guests, please email us at requests@totallytailored.com and we’ll help you craft your ideal trip.

Should you have to cancel your tour for any reason we will happily refund 70 percent of the total price paid up to one week before your tour. 30 percent of the price paid is non-refundable due to our processing and ticket costs.

Tips for your guide are never expected, but they do show you think your guide did a brilliant job! If you would like to tip your guide, please do so directly during the tour (10 – 15% is customary).
