This private tour includes:

Meeting your private guide at your central London accommodation for a consultation
An introduction to London’s fashion history before traveling to Bond Street with your guide
Hearing about the iconic Bond Street area and see famous stores, including Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney
Window-shopping the international classics like Chanel and Louis Vuitton
History of the beautiful Burlington Arcade- the world’s first mall
Mini store tour of the famous Fortnum and Mason, where you can see the Queen’s handbags and browse endless tea
Finishing with a fabulous afternoon tea – we’ll take care of the reservation for you (food/drinks at your own cost)
Optional extension: Make a day of it with a guided visit to Dress Codes at Kensington Palace, or be taken to the fabulous Portobello Market (Fridays & Saturdays) or Spitalfields Market (any other day) for more alternative finds. For this extension, please email requests@totallytailored.com.

We Come to You
Your private guide will meet you at your hotel or apartment for a consultation so that we can tailor the day to you.

Iconic Piccadilly
Pop into Fortnum and Mason’s for opening see the famous clock chime and immerse yourself in the quintessentially British produce which holds the Royal Warrant. Buy anything from tea to the Queen’s favourite hand bags. You will not be able to leave this shop without finding fabulous treasures to take home.

Burlington Arcade to Bond Street
Enjoy a wander through the intricate Burlington Arcade with superb designer shops in a truly beautiful setting. Then walk up New Bond Street where you will find fabulous British designers such as Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney and Burberry. Visit these flagship stores in their home city while learning about London’s fashion history.

Department Store Explore
After the quiet sophistication of New Bond Street enjoy an adventure around the buzzing Selfridges where each department is bursting with fantastic designers and interesting finds. There is even a vintage section here now in the women’s department where you can pick up some unique finds. Or enjoy some exclusive skin care from the beauty department. There is always something for everyone at Selfridges.

Vintage Discovery
Explore the vintage clothes and independent creators selling clothes and accessories in the market then pop underground to discover the mecca of British Vintage and Festival wear.

Absolutely. Our tour guides are fun, dynamic, and experienced in managing (and entertaining!) groups with kids.

This tour is designed for groups of up to 14 guests. If you’d like to take the tour with a larger group, please email requests@totallytailored.com and we will do our very best to accommodate you.

Tips for your guide are never expected, but they do show you think your guide did a brilliant job! If you would like to tip your guide, please do so directly during the tour (10 – 15% is customary).
