Your expert private guide will meet you at your hotel, apartment, or central London location.

Experience the Royal Heart of London
Hear the stories and secrets of Royal London in the heart of Westminster. See the Abbey where English kings and queens have been crowned, married, and buried for nearly 1,000 years.

March with the Guards
Watch the traditional military band start up from the best position that most people miss. Then, march beside the iconic Queen’s Guards up to Buckingham Palace. It’s the perfect place for souvenir photos of your visit to London.

Enjoy the Best View of Buckingham Palace
Get up close and personal with the Queen’s official residence and hear the thrilling stories of scandals, ceremonies, and even break-ins!

Lunch Somewhere You’ll Love
During the booking, Totally Tailored can make a lunch reservation for you. Your guide will escort you there for a well-deserved feast: options include afternoon tea fit for a Queen, a proper pub lunch, or Notting Hill fish and chips.

Fun in a Family Palace
Travel to Kensington Palace, where the modern royal family (yes, even Prince George) currently lives. Enjoy a private interior tour of this historic but intimate palace, which was Queen Victoria’s childhood home. You’ll see grand 18th-century staterooms alongside royal toys and tiaras.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, all our tours are private and can be customized to our guests’ interests.

London public transport is at your own cost.

A privately Chauffeured Vehicle can be added to the tour upon booking for an additional cost.

On this tour, we do not allow groups larger than 5 people due to the size of the locations visited. In general, though, our tours are designed for groups of 1-14 people. For groups of over 14 guests, please email us at requests@totallytailored.com and we’ll help you craft your ideal trip.

The Changing of the Guard normally takes place on Monday’s Wednesday’s, Friday’s and Sunday’s at 10.30 am. Due to military scheduling and also the weather, the ceremony can be cancelled this last minute, therefore we cannot guarantee that you will be able to see it. The Changing of the Horse Guard happens every day at 11am, and 10am on a Sunday (also weather and military schedule permitting) so this is an exciting alternative to seeing the Changing of the Guard.

Tips for your guide are never expected, but they do show you think your guide did a brilliant job! If you would like to tip your guide, please do so directly during the tour (10 – 15% is customary).
