Are your tours private?

Yes, all our tours are private and can be customized to our guests’ interests.

Will there be other people on my tour?

To maintain the quality of our premium tours, each trip is completely private and will consist of your group and a dedicated private tour guide only.

Are your tours only in English?

Language availability depends on the specific tour you’re taking. Please visit the dedicated page of the tour you’re interested in to see language options or contact a member of our team on requests@totallytailored.com to discuss your options.

When is the Guard Change?

The schedule is subject to change by Her Majesty’s Armed Forces, but it usually runs Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday throughout the year.

Are your tours suitable for kids?

Yes. Our tour guides are fun, dynamic, and experienced in managing (and entertaining!) groups with kids.

What happens if it is raining on the day of my tour?

We conduct our tours rain or shine! You are advised to carry an umbrella and dress appropriately for weather conditions. In the case of severe weather conditions (such as a storm) and your tour is suspended, we may either offer you a partial or full refund of your ticket depending on the circumstances.

Is transport included in the price of your tours?

Your dedicated guide will pick you up from your accommodation or agreed meeting point, and will be happy to assist you in purchasing public transport tickets but public transportation costs are not included in a standard ticket price. Is lunch included on the tours?

For the majority of our tours, lunch is at your own cost. However, we are happy to give recommendations (and make reservations) for you at classic destinations or the best-kept secrets on the food scene.

Our Borough Food Tasting Tour and East End Food Tour both include food and drinks.

Do you accommodate large groups on your tours?

Absolutely! We offer customizable tours that cater to large groups. For our London custom tours, please visit this page. If you’re looking for a custom tour in Scotland, please visit this page. We will respond to your request with a tailored option just for you.

What is your cancellation policy?

We offer a full refund with two weeks’ written notice of cancellation (with the exception of attraction tickets already purchased). Where we may be forced to cancel a tour due to weather conditions or other adverse circumstances, your ticket price may either be refunded in full or you will be given the chance to select an alternative available date.

Can you cater to dietary requirements?

Totally Tailored will do our very best to accommodate vegetarians and most food restrictions when making restaurant reservations. However, we cannot make any guarantees on behalf of the establishment you wish to dine at. Please let us know about any restrictions or allergies you may have within 48 hours of your purchase so we can endeavour to make the necessary arrangements.

On food tours we can accommodate certain dietary requirements with advance notice, but we may be unable to provide substitutes for all tastings. If you have questions about specific dietary requirements, email our team on requests@totallytailored.com and we will be happy to help.
